About Us

A House of Worship

Christian Outreach Ministries Worldwide Worship Center was established in 1996 under the leadership of Pastor Stephen Wachira. Pastor Wachira ministered until August 1998, after which Pastor Francis assumed leadership in January 1999. That same year, the first church building was constructed, allowing the congregation to move from a rented space to a permanent location.

In January 2008, the church started a school for the children of post-election violence victims. Since its inception, the school has grown significantly and now serves a population of about 500 learners. The church membership has also seen substantial growth, increasing from fewer than 30 members to around 400 adults. Additionally, the church's Sunday School program attracts more than 200 children every Sunday.

Due to the growing congregation, the original church building was expanded twice. In 2021, the construction of a new permanent church building began. This new facility was completed in 2023 and was officially opened on December 10th by Archbishop Jona Bedan.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry at Christian Outreach Ministries equips young people with the knowledge, tools, and spiritual guidance needed to navigate their personal journeys with God. It is divided into two groups:

Our youth department is supported by enthusiastic and passionate leaders and includes several active teams, such as worship teams, ushers, and soccer teams. We welcome all youth to join and participate in ministry and fellowship!
